Another Anime Con was a lot of fun! Got to hang around today with some friends today to wrap up the con.
Highlight for me was of course my first time performing in an idol showcase. :mexcitedmiku: And getting to share some excitement for Genjitsu no Yohane by doing Forever U & I (from the penultimate episode). It was really fun putting together the cosplay and figuring out the choreography from the episode, which is all I had to go on since it hasn't been performed live yet. :TamakoLaugh: (I'm actually really interested to see the choreo that Aikyan will use in the Yohane Live; there are a lot of cutaways in the anime MV that I had to fill in, and which will probably be filled in differently by Aikyan. :akko_excited: )
And all the other performances were all so good. :akko_listen: I really love the idol community around here; everyone's so good at performing, in addition to being so supportive and full of positive energy.

New song from the Genjitsu no Yohane anime! La la 勇気のうた. Also has a very distinctive "idol" feel to it, though unlike Wonder sea breeze did not feel like early Aqours/μ's.
When I heard it, I thought it sounded vaguely like a Liella insert song, or maybe a Nijigasaki song. Well, turns out Niji was the better guess: Morito Yonezawa, who's written a few things for Niji (Itsu date for you!, Analog Heart, Maze Town) was one of the composers. Another was alura, who hasn't done anything Love Live I think but has written for some idol groups, and Fi'Ne, who I know nothing about.

This song feels the most idolish out of anything in the series. Composed by 倉内達矢 [Kurauchi Tatsuya], who did several µ's songs including Sunny Day Song, so it makes sense. Also apparently composed 冒険Type A, B, C‼, which really makes sense. It's neat to see a callback to the ocean motif in Aqours songs, especially with the video; it looks like they're underwater, with fish, a reef, and clamshell background. Overall feels kind of like a return to traditional Aqours.
Also love the splitting into GnY subunits for the verse parts. Guilty Kiss front and center almost needs no comment. I really like the other two subdivisions' vocal blends, but especially Maru-You-Kanan. :nnezukolove56:
And the outfits are nice. :zerotwoheart: Again, much more idol-ish than what we've seen previously in the series. The white tailcoats actually look similar to the MIRAI TICKET costumes, but the tops are different (and with subunit colorings!).
