I mostly play roguelikes, metroidvanias and some monster tamers (i.e. Pokémon-like). I read way too much webcomics as well, feel free to ask (or give!) me recommandations

After playing so much #30XX lately I got a hankering for the classics so I took advantage of the massive discount and snatched up that big bundle of #MegaMan Legacy Collections. Let me tell you, going back and playing Zero and ZX is a revelation. I’d forgotten a lot of things about these games. #MegaManZero in particular is incredibly difficult for one specific reason I had never realized before: the #GBA viewport is TINY! Not a lot of room to move around before enemies are right on top of you.

This weekend I did all of the secret stuff in #30XX. It's a phenomenal game and while I enjoyed unlocking the true ending by finding all of these odd things during playthroughs, it was a mistake to lock all of the story progression behind hidden challenges. #Hades, IMO, is still the gold-standard when it comes to narrative progression in a roguelite. I love how it contextualizes multiple runs as part of the plot. 30XX tries the same, but it's not central to the experience the way it is in Hades.

I’m really glad that they reverted the power combo system for Nina in #30XX. It’s way more fun to be able to mix and match everything on the fly than to lock in to specific combos. The adaptability in the later parts of a run is what makes the game fun.

I'm Théotime, I'm a French computer science student from Auvergne.
I mostly play roguelikes, metroidvanias (Hollow Knight my beloved) and monster tamers (i.e. "Pokémon-likes", such as Nexomon, Coromon, Monster Sanctuary,...). These days, I play a lot of Breath of the Wild, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Dead Cells, and 30XX.
I watch pretty diverse series, my favourite shows at the moment are Doctor Who, The Owl House, Inside Job, The Good Place, Rick and Morty,... Feel free to recommend me shows, I don't really have anything to watch these days.
