The past few weeks have been spent learning the fundamentals of 3D modeling and rigging to make avatars for use in VR.

This first version was mainly for learning how to make an armature (dark lines in pic 4). The armature acts like a skeleton to control how the model moves and animates.

The avatar was modeled and rigged in Blender then exported to Unity to set up the avatar for the game. The first 2 pics are from in VR and the other are from inside Blender.

Since it's been a few days, model update! Working on the claws via mirror modifier first, then when I'm done making the claws, I'll mirror the entire leg. Decided to also show shade flat vs shade smooth because why not.
