No los compré hace 10 años porque, en fin, no compraba juegos digitales (cosa que hoy ya no me importa), pero sobretodo porque al contrario que los anteriores no vinieron traducidos al español =(
Sigo sin perdonárselo a Capcom, pero al menos hoy día tengo mejor nivel de inglés así que puedo disfrutarlos en condiciones. Y vaya si estoy disfrutando de ver a personajes como Trucy de nuevo :chick_magic:

Pues #AceAttorney #SpiritOfJustice terminado, y yo no se que voy a hacer ahora con mi vida...
Sinceramente y yendo directamente a la clave del asunto, es un juego que me ha gustado mucho y que, para mi sorpresa, es la gran redención de Apollo como personaje, habiéndole cogido más cariño en este juego que en Dual Destinies e, irónicamente, Apollo Justice. Muchos sabréis que nunca ha sido santo de mi devoción y Capcom ha hecho con el personaje lo que ha querido en cada juego, pero creo sinceramente que en esta entrega le dan su caso (lo que debería haber sido el caso final de AA4...) y pone broche de oro a su arco en los tres juegos. MUCHAS ganas de ver que hacen con el en la siguiente entrega.
Ahora bien, tiene ese gran plus, y encima creo que su caso final es el mejor de la "segunda trilogía" y uno de los mejores de la saga, pero aún así diría que de esta trilogía me sigo quedando con Dual Destinies por un simple motivo: constancia y cohesión entre los casos. Lo que más me gustó con mucha diferencia de la anterior entrega es que todos los casos se sentían importantes para la trama general (quitando el segundo, pero que sirve para presentarte bien a Athena) y el nivel de los cinco era muy equilibrado. Por el contrario, aquí nos encontramos con dos casos de completo relleno (2 y 4) y de los 3 casos que si que aportan a la trama, el primero es uno de los peores de toda la saga, por lo que a este juego lo salvan dos casos de los cinco que tiene. Si, esos dos casos son impresionantes, pero podía haber tenido una media mucho mayor de no ser por sus tres compañeros.
Especial mención a la mecánica propia de esta entrega, que no me ha convencido y se une a la lista de mecánicas de esta saga que no me convencen junto con el brazalete de Apollo y las terapias de Athena. Tal vez Capcom debería dejar de experimentar en ese sentido y centrarse en la historia y en los juicios, que al final es lo que hace a un Ace Attorney divertido...
En resumen, es un juego con mas altibajos en mi opinión que su predecesor pero que, al final del día, tiene dos de los mejores casos de la saga y redime y hace que le coja cariño a uno de los personajes que menos me gustaban, por lo que bajo mi punto de vista cumple su propósito. Ahora lamentablemente me he quedado sin juegos con la jugabilidad clásica (he jugado los seis principales y los dos Great Ace Attorney) y solo me quedarían los investigations, por lo que ya me puedo unir a toda esa cantidad de fans que ruegan o por alguna que otra compilación remasterizada o la ansiada septima entrega. Por el momento, este verano toca el Ghost Trick de nuestro querido Takumi. Por última vez en un buen tiempo... ¡nos vemos en el juzgado!

OK I did it, I did my #Nintendo #3DS #eShop last hurrah. I got the 3 #AceAttorney games I was missing (already had the trilogy) at ~90% off, thanks #Capcom! I also got #Pokemon Crystal, because even if it does eventually make it to the Switch, I doubt it will have the special Celebi post-game stuff they included for the Virtual Console release, and I’m a sucker for weird exclusive content. We’ll have to see if I ever get around to playing it though…

Takes on the #PhoenixWright #AceAttorney trilogy release? I booted it up and immediately hated the art with a passion. I've done some reading and I think that it seems the original high resolution art was used in the creation of the upscaled game?
I've seen a lot of arguing around it, but a lot of it seems to centre around people yearning after the pixel sprites being nostalgic people looking for the original experience vs people claiming that the art is how the original game was intended to look.
My personal take is that, because the art was designed to be displayed on a handheld console that would be heavily pixelated, the level of detail/quality required for it to look good at that size would be significantly less. Thus using the original artwork looks sub par because it's being viewed at a large size.
The only way I could get it to a state that was acceptable for me to play was to install #ReShade and set up a pixelation shader to manually drop the res. The result is still higher res than the original, but softens some of the really wonky looking high res details.
