The shot paint didn't hit anyone. In addition to the protest outside the building, the protesters also interrupted the conference with a banner demanding the end of private aviation: “It is your time to pay, you are killing us! Stop aviation, stop the private jets!” they shouted.
Speaking to journalists, Alice Cat, a member of the Climáximo group, accuses airline managers of being responsible for “thousands of deaths from the climate crisis.”
“Aviation has to be reduced, luxury emissions have to be cut. We need to ban private jets, yachts, luxury hotels, luxury residences. These people [aviation managers] are now directly killing thousands of people because of the emissions they emit. We know that we have to cut emissions drastically, there is no doubt whatsoever. These events, these criminals cannot go blank,” he says.

I went against convention on a lot. This includes a deconstructivist take on cyberpunk: Not just cause it's cool, but that marginalized folks striving for change is at the core of "punk". The architectural density shows how characters can be humanized OR reduced OR heal unevenly.
There are so few games - so few entertainment media - that dare portray an East Asian woman as a frontline activist in a sustained movement. This was a deliberate choice, with overtly Asian & AAPI traumas. We're not your model minority. We're not your cyberpunk doll.
Solace State went against visual novel convention, too. I experimented so much! What I landed on is a visual novel powered by movements that feels like camera drones... which are used IRL by both the establishment & by protesters. So this is a protest game through and through.

People are fond of saying "Kindness costs nothing". Actually I think that can be wrong.
Kindness costs the billionaires.
Anytime we're focused on happier experiences, not monetised experiences, we are opting out of their system. Opting out of the relentless ad drives for rampant consumerism. Consumerism which fails to fill empty holes in our lives. We're opting out of the whole pyramid scam that the billionaire class are increasingly pushing our societies towards.
Play with your dog or cat, spend time with your people, spend time in nature/garden, go see a friend, do something for a neighbour or stranger. These small things all add up to probably a lot more effective #activism than buying more stuff, or being fed up /angry /horrified at the mess billionaire owned media is making of politics & society. #DefundTheBillionaires

I'm not saying I'm old but when we demonstrated and made sit-down #strikes, peaceful #civilDisobedience was considered one of the highest goods of #democracy. Every school taught that #demonstrations are a fundamental right. Only old Nazis and CSU-members called environment #activists with worst swear words. We had no glue but chains.
