Een zeilsurfer is nog problematischer, ik heb echt veel pogingen met settings moeten doen om drie images te krijgen. De volhouder wint, naast hdr instellingen, is de surfer en het zeil zowel het bord opnieuw ingekleurd. De achtergrond de oliestrepen verzacht om de diepte te krijgen. De basis is olieverf en muted Tones.
Een hele lastige klus deze, namelijk Ai bot heeft grote moeite met surfen en water. Na vele pogingen uiteindeijk drie images kunnen genereren. Dan nog de nabewerking, waarbij de surfer onderhanden genomenis plus hdr. verscherping en ruis vermindering. basis is olieverf en Muted Tones.
#Affinity Publisher verfügt in der neuen Version 2.3 endlich über die Funktion, Alt-Text für Bilder zu definieren. Dies ist für die #Barrierefreiheit von digitalen Produkten unerlässlich, damit Screenreader die Bilder erklären können.
Jetzt fehlt nur noch die Möglichkeit, die Lesereihenfolge zu bestimmen und ein Testtool für die Barrierefreiheit. Das würde die Erstellung von hochwertigen PDF’s erleichtern und beschleunigen.
I'd forgotten how good #affinity photo/designer/publisher was. I bought them all last year in the Black Friday sale but for some reason kept using PS Elements. Now, thanks to a bug in PSE on macOS Sonoma, and Adobe's fix being 'just upgrade to 2024 for £100' I have deleted PS and gone all in with Affinity. It's very good!
Uit de snowboarding serie, is deze met een hogere stijl waarde, waardooor het beeld wat chaotischer maar ook dynamischer wordt. Omgezet naar hdr waarde, plus Jack betere kleurlaag met blending net als de helm en gezichts masker.

Door een voorbeeld tekst, kwam ik op dit idee voor alle wintersporters onder ons. Diverse onderdelen zijn met de hand (brush) ingekleurd met Affinity Photo. Basis is een impacto oil paint afbeelding.

こういうデザイン素材をデザイン・提供している人と、それを利用して作品を生み出す人との間には、なんか同じグラフィック作品作るもの同士の横連携というか、こういうふうにリソース購入を通してそのリソース作者も支援できるし自分のデザインの幅も広がるし、みたいないわゆる Win-Win という関係がある（これもいまや小さな経済圏ではあるけど）とおもうし #Affinity を作ってる #Serif 社もそういうクリエイティブ業界を維持しようとしてる感じはなんとなくしている。
一方で、生成 AI とその学習の元になったであろう作品にはそういう関係が今後構築されることってあるのかな？という、心配というか淡い危惧する気持ちみたいなのもある。
なんとなく「生成 AI という圧倒的に効率的で便利なものがもうできちゃった以上は、何を学習したとか学習されたとか言ったところで、もう生身の人間じゃ勝てないんだから、勝つためには生成 AI 使うしかないし、いまさら不当に学習された！とか言ったって一時のお金を引っ張ってくるくらいが関の山で、もうあとの祭りだよね！」という雰囲気みたいなものも感じている :tony_neutral:

1. We us a complete editorial workflow solution. This means a K4 server and InDesign and InCopy. People need to work together and a structured workflow enforced by a server. I can replace K4 with something else, but not ID.
2. When hiring people we need people trained in the software. Makes anything but ID difficult.
3. Even for paid private projects I am requested to work in ID.

Вот открываешь ленту — не хочу видеть ничего, кроме записей от близких — выставляешь ползунок на отметку между «Family» и «Friends» — и за одно короткое действие в ленте нет никаких постов от медийных личностей, новостных агентств или другой херни от разномастных лидеров общественного мнения.
Работает за счёт того, что каждому контакту, на которого подписываешься, присваивается уровень от 0 до 99 (вроде бы).
Вся эта шкала Affinity промаркирована семью отметками на восемь диапазонов, вроде: «Me», «Family», «Friends», «Acquaintances», «All». Чтобы проще было прикинуть вот этот контакт ближе к чему? А если не ближе, то насколько дальше?
Не утомительно, даже когда больше сотни тех, на кого подписан.
Удобное тем, что если кто-то вечно срёт тебе в ленту своими особо ценными мыслями о политике, гендерной или социальной херне, то можно повысить уровень Affinity у этого контакта и выкинуть его шитпостинг в категорию того, что крайне редко просматриваешь.
Настоятельно рекомендую или запилить или найти и включить такое вот Affinity Tool и в других типах инстанцев — всех этих ваших Misskey, Mastodon, Friendica.

メールで流れてきた #Figma 講座の情報みてたら #XD をやたら推していた人がいつのまにか「 #XD が終了してこまってるあなたに Figma 教えますよ！」みたいに #Figma の講師になってるの、まあそりゃ #XD の終了が発表されている今となってはそうなるよねーとは思うけど、なんか微妙な気持ちにもなってしまう :tony_neutral:
自分はずっと #XD は微妙だと感じてて #Figma を推し続けてたし、なんなら自分の周りの人もずっと微妙な顔して #XD 使ってた（というより使わされていた）印象で、何でそんな状況になっていたかと考えれば #Adobe の #CreativeCloud 抱き合わせ戦略とかそこに便乗してきた #XD アンバサダーみたいな人たちがそういう状況を後押ししてたわけで、そういう「#XD がいいですよ！ #XD 使いましょう！ #XD 教えます！」って言ってた人たちが「#XD はもうだめです！ #Figma を教えてあげます！」って急に変わられても、そんなスピードでは受け入れられない自分がいる…
まあ自分もいまのところまだ流行りそうにない #Affinity とかを推しているし、先見の明がなかったことを謝る必要とかはない（きっかけがなんであれ、使っている人の判断）と思うけど、
こと「#Figma と #XD」の比較の話は、どう考えても #Figma のほうが出来が良かったのに「#Adobe だから」とか「#CreativeCloud の定額で使えるから（それって安かろう悪かろうという話で質の話が置き去り…）」という開発元の政治力とかでモノをみているというか本質的なツールの質とか可能性を見てない感じがあって（#Figma がいかに優れてても「でもやっぱり #Adobe だと安心（だろう）」みたいに言う人も多かった」）そういうことをなにも精算しないで「#XD の先生だったわたしも今日からは #Figma の先生です」って言われると、正直な感想「なんか節操ないな…」と思ってしまう。
まあでも講師業とかイベントやる大変さももちろんあるし、そういう経験を生かして、#XD をターゲットにやってたことを #Figma でまたやる（しかもいまや同じ #Adobe プロダクトだし）というだけのことなんだろうけど。
別に古参ユーザーを自称したい訳じゃないんだけど、、、
#Figma が今の地位失うことは少なくともしばらくはないと思うし #Figma は自分も大好きだし続いていって欲しいとおもってるけど、そういう「ただ勝馬を追いかける」みたいなツール選びしてる人は、また「お勧めしてたこのツール、やっぱりダメでした！今日からはこの新ツールを使いましょうね！教えます！」みたいなこと言うことになっちゃうんじゃないのかい…？とおもってしまうおじさん :tony_neutral: < おじさん

Adobe seems to have figured out that I use unlicensed (cracked) software and never paid a cent to them. In 10 days (if this threat becomes real) will start my experiment into replacing my design tools by Free / open-source alternatives. I will probably give some insight on that process over here, if some of you are interested.
I mainly use Photoshop, Lightroom, Indesign and Illustrator, so they are the ones I'm looking to replace... Curious to experiment with #webtoprint, #gimp, #inkscape, #scribus, #affinity, etc.

自分の中では #Adobe はもうだいぶ前から制作の現場のプロよりも初心者とか制作以外の人を取り込む方向に舵を切ってると思ってて、それは「イラレがあればあなたもデザイナー」みたいな広告を出してる数年前からそうだったし、長年プロが依存している Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign あたりのワークフローを大きく変えて来なかったことからもずっとそう感じてた。
そういう #Adobe が #AI を手にしたらそりゃこうなっていくよね、という気持ち。
#Affinity なんかはそういう部分でもっと大きなレベルでプロのワークフローを改善しようという気持ちが見えてたし、いまもそういう文脈で #AI の活用を模索してくれてると信じている。

The #WebP buffer overflow bug that caused all the major browsers to issue patches earlier this week (e.g. #Firefox 117.0.1) also affects applications built with Electron. #1Password issued an update today for their Mac build.
The CVE affects the underlying webp library, not just web browsers, so this will be an ongoing issue.

@patrick_h_lauke @Richard_Littler More spectacular than #Affinity Studio Link is impossible. For those who don't know, it's the ability to switch from Publisher to Photo and turn off the K channel to more easily check if there's RGB in the text. Or create a mask for any item being worked on in Publisher. Last week, I had a blast switching from Publisher to Photo.
I was a #Photoshop lifer (30 years), but I haven't needed it once since I started using the #Affinity suite. I'm still testing it out, but there are loads of fun possibilities, such as changing the weather in photographs! If only Affinity would develop an After Effects substitute.

#Affinity Designer で解像度 2x 書き出しとかすると、書き出された画像サイズが 1px 大きくなったりするの、原因がよく分からない。
書き出すオブジェクトのグローバルな座標が小数点持ってるとそうなるのは知ってたんだけどそういうワケでもないし。
640w とか固定の幅を設定すれば大丈夫なんだけどなんか原因がはっきりしなくてなんかモヤモヤ

I was able to turn a few features on that made painting the light a bit easier, and I'm generally quite pleased with it.
What's it called to rotate a shape so that it ends up aligned to be orthogonal to a line at a certain point?
I know how to do this in maths/geometry, but not what it'd be called to move the rectangle onto the path (first pic) and rotate it to end up correctly aligned like an arrow head (second pic, hand-rotated)
