There's plenty of research and scholarly writing on "Common Characteristics of Fascist Movements".

I think it might be useful to also think of the same characteristics as "conditions needed for fascism to emerge". This gives a chance to address some of the same fascistic tendencies in the larger society, rather than having to wait for a group to cross the "fascism line".

Der Erfolg der Aktion behinderte unter anderem für mehrere Tage den Nachschub der deutschen Truppen in #Nordafrika, hatte aber als Symbol für die Möglichkeit des Widerstands gegen die vermeintlich übermächtige #Besatzung höhere Bedeutung.

Die #Sprengung der Brücke war auch ein Fanal für den massiven griechischen #Widerstand gegen die deutsche Besatzung. Die Hauptkraft der #Partisanenarmee, die #ELAS unter Aris #Velouchiotis, hatte zeitweilig mehr als 120.000 Mann und fügte den Besatzern erhebliche Verluste zu.

"Free the Budapest 2!

Im Februar 2023 wurden in Budapest im Rahmen des sogennanten "Tag der Ehre" mehrere #Antifa s festgenommen. Seid über zwei Jahrzehnten treffen sich Nazis und Faschist*innen, um an die deutschen und ungarischen Soldaten zu erinnern, die 1945 in der Schlacht um Budapest von der Roten Armee getötet wurden. Seit Jahren gehen ungarische und internationale Antifaschist*innen gegen diese NS-Verherrlichung vor.

Ein deutscher Genosse und eine italienische Genossin sitzen nun seit Februar in Budapest in Haft.
Mehrere andere Genoss*innen haben sich erfolgreich den Repressionbehörden entzogen und sind seit dem auf der Flucht. Trotz noch unklarer Sachlage und Vorwürfe gab es seitens der deutschen Medien eine Kampagne der Vorverurteilung. Garniert wird sie - wie so oft in den letzten Jahren mit der Veröffentlichung persönlicher Daten, wie etwa Namen und Wohnadressen der Verhafteten durch Neonazi Seiten und Twitter-Konten.

Unsere zwei Genoss*innen sind mit harten Haftbedingungen konfrontiert. Die Zellen in Ungarn sind bekanntlich überfüllt, schmutzig und ohne natürliches Licht. Kontakt zu Freund*innen, Genoss*innen und Familie wird den beiden teilweise verboten oder massiv erschwert.

Am 24.11 wird das Solidaritätsbündniss Budapest Solidarity einen Vortrag zur Repression gegen unsere Genoss*innen in Budapest halten sowie den "Tag der Ehre" politisch einordnen. Im Anschluss gibt es die Möglichkeit bei einem Kaltgetränk Postkarten für die Inhaftierten zu schreiben."
