When I watch a vod on twitch (recorded stream) the screen turns black and the sound still works. Sometimes it comes back after a couple seconds and the picture plays ultrafast and sometimes it stays black for minutes. If I press pause and play or change the playing cursor position its back on.
Does anybody have a that problem and does anyone know a solution?

El problema es que se fue dispersando y no me queda claro, después de la tercera, si lo que quiere es mostrar la producción televisiva, las luchas de poder, o si es una ventana de actualidad. A pesar de tener una realización impecable y un reparto impresionante, me da la sensación de que le falta madurez. Con todo, es una gozada de serie.

Gary Oldman on Slow Horses cracks me up every episode. This show is so damn good.
The beta #Hulu integration into the #DisneyPlus app is really nice on the #AppleTV. The Disney+ app is much faster and easier to navigate than Hulu. And HDR shows can now be streamed in Dolby Vision instead of HDR10.
There were some things we liked about #MLS move to #AppleTV. There are also things that need to improve -- especially expanding pre/post for the individual matches.

I've been unable to discover the trick to get it back to working other than trying again in several hours. Will work for a few days then fail. Was not an issue prior to recent OS updates

I suppose we don't have much in the way of dramatic natural landscapes nor a substantial landmass relative to other countries, so I can see how it might not come up. Oh look, Iceland has dramatic rivers and Greenland has snowy mountains. Nice.

Two episodes into #Hijack on #AppleTV, the best part is that it's not about a #macho hero using unbelievable physical feats of violent #action, but about using #human #psychology to gain the advantage.
It's a very welcome twist to the genre, one of a few so far in this enjoyable and still formulaic #series.

We are two episodes into 'Lessons in Chemistry' on Apple TV. Terrific series so far and well worth watching if you can. Sumptuously produced, with a wonderful soundtrack of late 40's/early 50's jazz - at least in these two episodes. Brie Larson is perfect in the lead role.

Anyone have experience with the #Philips #Hue Play HDMI Sync Box and adaptive lights and led strips?
I already have some lights for bias purposes, but the sync box is $250 — not cheap. And the strip is another $200!
I use an #AppleTV 4k with 2x #HomePods for sound. Connected to a #Sony 65Z9F. That’s it. No cable, no gaming, no receiver.
Is this thing fun? Stupid? Does it play nicely with AppleTV? #HDR? #DolbyVision?

Thanks for the #AppleTV advice y’all. We fiddled with some of the A/V settings but couldn’t get the solid green startup signal to stop.
It still displays the actual UI after a second or three, so we’re chalking it up to weirdness with the new box having some kind of weird thing with the HDMI -> optical converter he’s using.
#Apple audio/video people, I could use your help: My FIL replaced a 2nd or 3rd gen #AppleTV with the current 4K model. Now when he turns the ATV on, it displays green on the entire HDTV for 2-3 seconds, then the normal ATV interface appears.
TV is Samsung 65” 1080p 60hz. Hooked up to older receiver via an HDMI -> optical cable converter (only input it supports; no HDMI ports).
Any idea what could cause that green signal? A/V is not my strong suit.
I just tried to navigate around #NBA2K24 on #AppleTV via #AppleArcade. Gamepad-based navigation remains awful for Apple TV games; at one point I was told to "Touch screen to continue," requiring a restart, and in the settings I'm told that saving data to the cloud works best with a WiFi connection -- unfortunate for me, as my Apple TV is connected with an ethernet cable.

Those 3 services are bundled alongside iCloud and (in the Premier tier) Fitness+ in Apple One. That service will also increase in price. Individual plans will go from $16.95 to $19.95 monthly, family plans will go from $22.95 to $25.95, and Premier plans will now cost $37.95 instead of $32.95

'Lessons in Chemistry' was quirky but fun until the dog started talking. 'Invasion' was fun until couldn't figure out which way it was going, tight sci-fi effort or kid's adventure story. Two saving graces are 'Severance' and 'Slow Horses'. They are worth the monthly fee. I canceled but will renew next year.

Streaming services need to add a “Saturday Morning Cartoons” stream, preferably curated, so kids can watch a variety of shows on offer, rather than a single show for a 2 hour+ block.

Late to the party but I've finally managed to finish Season 1 of Foundation, as IMDB puts it the "complex saga of humans scattered on planets throughout the galaxy all living under the rule of the Galactic Empire."
It has been a roller coaster with some episodes being very boring episodes and others stunning.
I wanted to see more of The Empire, and enjoyed very much the previous episodes about the DNA alterations.

I noticed it sounds just like German "Dämmerzelle" (as an English speaker might pronounce it). A poetic invention literally meaning "twilight cell". Very fitting if you think of how she enters into emperor Kleon's service in the tv adaptation, 2nd season.

I've been watching #Foundation on #AppleTV since is started. I like it, including the very slow burn first season.
But, the last to episodes of this season were WILD. I can't recall a TV show making such a sudden migration into such great storytelling late in its second season.
The series is officially underrated at this point. Very much worth a watch.
At least part of my initial attraction to Silo on Apple TV+ was purely aesthetic and had to do with the absolutely delicious retrocomputing terminals they created.
That, combined with the brutalist architecture and utilitarian modernist furniture gives the whole thing a very "Stanford Community College Prison Experiment" vibe.
