I attempted to read an article about the record labels who are suing the Internet Archive over the Great 78 Project, but I couldn't finish it because I was getting so angry. I can't believe the level of greed of these record labels. I sincerely hope all these lawsuits aren't going to bankrupt the Internet Archive. I'd consider "public" posts to be relatively unproblematic in contrast to "unlisted posts," "followers only," or "mentioned people only." 2. Many users delete their older posts regularly - to respect that the posts are not supposed to last forever, you could consider a #quarantine of, e.g., a few months - in the sense of not adding recent posts to your private #archive. 3. Posts (especially those in direct interaction) are #ephemeral by nature (consider that one rarely gets a reaction to posts that are more than a day old) - I see this as contrasting the idea of archiving/conservation. Does this make sense?

Hey fediverse, does anyone have any information on how to contact someone that has access to pulsar-records.de ? I loved the music that was available on that netlabel but it seems the site has been abandoned some time in 2007 and the PHP scripts that powered it failed. Is there a chance to archive the music? Would build a site to make it available or connect with projects like netlabelarchive.org
