Finished the commission for a regular of mine. Tried something new in a soft Art Nouveau style. The frame took me forever. But i think that sometimes we need to challenge us and me doing smooth stuff is such a challenge. Luckily my client just likes my style and is happy when i test around with his pieces. It is great to have a client like this.

Rose Bushes under the Trees (1905) by Gustav Klimt. The artist lived in Vienna, Austria throughout his career yet spend his summers in the countryside seized by nature. The new environment inspired the artist to take up landscape drawings through a mosaic style rather than the popular realist technique at the time.

This is an art nouveau inspired mermaid. The pose is based on Lamia II by John William Waterhouse.
More importantly, if you're joining a motorway at 40mph where the traffic is travelling at a minimum of 56-60mph then you're a danger to yourself and others. Put your foot down, numbskull!
