I was listening to a certain audiodrama and near the end I got a dynamic insertion of a local (Portuguese) supermarket chain ad. The app being used is PodcastGuru and inserts no ads. However that same episode and same RSS in another app (Podverse) and also via podchaser just gives the regular ad more related to sponsors or other podcasts.
Has anyone had a similar experience? I found this irritating since the ad is not contextual and uses different volume.

My #AudioDrama scripts sound like #AudioDescription scripts, so I guess this will give new things for engineers to play with? I constantly think I'm putting too much detail in my action elements like races of characters and stuff. Still, off to pitch some scripts! I know it's a long shot but I'm gonna try the Truth soon. Also, well, I seem to enjoy writing phone sex into my audio dramas. Fun, this is!

"Oz9" is also great and although it has an ensemble cast that includes lots of writers, I'm 90% sure it was created and is written by Shannon Perry. (Forgive me if others are involved!)
I'm sure there are many other great audio dramas crated by women that I'm forgetting. Help us out, people!

Want some wonderful audio dramatizations of classic science fiction? Can’t go wrong with Seeing Ear theater from SciFi channel/now SyFy. My favorite (although all of them are fantastic) is Emily 501. anticipation time! My agent is looking over #AudioDrama contracts for a short fiction serial. I know these are largely indie spaces, but still, my agent is the best! Other writers, seriously, ask your agent about representing your #FictionPodcast work too. While mine said yes, many might not know anything about contracts and similar in the podcast space so check with your agent!
Basic premise is below.
Jackson, a legally Blind college student, goes viral for looking at his phone as he is typing. Quickly turning into inspiration porn, he soon receives an email that offers him free room and board at an apartment complex for Atypicals, people with superpowers. Many mistakenly believe he has powers to change people’s moods because of the inspiration porn factor.
When he arrives at the complex, everyone is nice and friendly, but there's one problem. Not everyone likes regular humans, and he's got to keep his powerless status a secret or else he could be executed.
Despite this, friendships and even romance blossom and bloom. Someone is determined to uncover his secret, though, and won’t stop until Jaxson is out of the picture, and the atypical world, for good.
