Clearly, it's catching 😂

Greater Manchester's mayor Andy Burnham hails the "coming-of-age moment" for English devolution.
Neither BBC News nor any other British broadcast media gave any coverage of the HUGE Rejoin EU demonstration in London yesterday. This is a combination of state editorial control (BBC bosses are Tory party donors), media mogul control (more Tory party donors) and news being an advertising business, not a public service.
Ironically we have to leave it to France state news channel to report on it.

The BBC continues to invite representatives from obscurely funded, right wing think tanks onto discussion programmes.
The panel for this evening's edition of BBC R4's popular "Any Questions" will include Robert Colville, the Director of the Centre for Policy Studies, one of several far right, obscurely funded think tanks based at 57 Tufton street in London
Since we don't know who funds them, we don't know who's speaking. The representatives put forward are merely the public faces that shield shadowy influences.
I have no problem with the BBC platforming these people but feel there should always be mention that they do not disclose their funding sources.

A survey of 2000 #UK #teenagers by #BBC shows many feel unsafe on the streets (especially young lasses, but a quarter of lads as well) but claim they are positive for the future and close to their families (this may be due to Gen X/Y who are now parents becoming more liberal over the decades)
Beware also that a survey like this is likely to only be answered by articulate, middle class teenagers so may not represent a wider picture of viewpoints..
