Objectively, that game wasn't bad. This is what happens when you let people with extreme views and egos dictate what is nominated and allowed.
Let's be honest, that game technically wasn't bad. I was stunned when i heard about this case.

Nach 2 Wochen Pause wegen Gesundheit geht es heute langsam wieder mit #twitch weiter. Wir schauen einfach, wo ich mich bei #BaldursGate3 wieder verlaufen kann.
In ein paar Minuten geht es los. Freu mich auf euren Besuch.
#BaldursGate3 local multiplayer on the PS5 is pretty well one of the best local multiplayer modes I've ever seen. Divinity Original Sin 2 did really well - but Larian improved on it so much. I honestly think multiplayer is the better way to play the game - the combat can get very long winded and keeping track of 4 characters (plus summons) in these big battles is a LOT. It's really nice to split the load.
It handles 2 separate local players much better than I'd have expected - there are bugs for sure but I can take my 1 companion and go completely untethered to the other player - which means we can both enter places from opposite areas and do things like.. my bard will play some music to distract everyone while my partner's rogue robs a place or goes through locked doors. Or I can talk to an NPC to get them to turn and face me, thereby not watching the door they were supposed to.
And all of this on the same console!

Run 3 ist unser Psycho Run, und nach dem Hain ist auch das Last Light Inn Geschichte... Aber jaheira ist trotzdem bei uns im Team.

I finished #BaldursGate3 yesterday and it was the most enjoyable ending of any computer #game I played in the past two decades. It provided closure, was interesting, and showed a wholly beautiful view on life.
This morning I drew my impression of the ending as #bestthingtoday #sketch for yesterday and scanned it first as #lineart and later in its colored version (I feared that I could ruin it in coloring — there is no undo in ink).

Someone casually asked me shortly after this post if I had gone to the Underdark. So before I went to act 2 I went back to the Underdark. And then like 12 more hours happened. Anyway, NOW I'm on to act 2. (Yes this was from like 3 months ago)

Great. So it looks like I just skip my ME and DA runs this year completely. Next I'm going back to #BaldursGate3 to play through patch 5. Then I'll turn around and go back to #Cyberpunk2077 to play through patch 2.1. CDPR said something about romance content, and I'm a simp for River. Though I should probably be prepared that River's getting the short end of the stick again.
