Using the term based to describe a politically sound take: Is that seen as offensive when used by white people, given that the phrase ultimately originated from an anti-Black insult? Or has the context and use of the phrase shifted sufficiently that it's okay to say?

There is an aspect of my job that I've been doing (successfully) for the past 6 years.
Today, I am *struggling* to repeat that success. Oh, it's not that I can't. I'm just...ugh. It's feeling harder to push this relatively low lift over the finish line.
I was more successful doing this thing at 7.30 am yesterday than now.
