@ClimateNewsNow I know two people who went to Antarctica last year. They don't know each other but were probably on the same cruise ship.
I'm sure all the visitors were told about how #ClimateChange is affecting #Antarctica. But obviously none of them felt the CO2 emitted on their trip was part of the problem. None probably wondered if that single air-plus-cruise trip emitted more CO2 than their grandparents did over their whole life!

So true, which is why I make a point of going to a local coffee shop to engaging in real conversations with strangers and often with friends.
This morning a young lad, probably early 30s with camping equipment strapped to his back stopped off for breakfast in #Penclawdd while on his Wales Coastal Walk, #Chester to #Caerleon. Over 700 miles done and about 170 miles left. He tells me he needed to ditch tech and his unfaithful girlfriend, so decided to embark on a #BucketList task.
Knowing how hard it is to run a marathon, gives me renewed appreciation of how hard it is to complete a full 141. I know i can run, and ride the distance, but add in swimming, and all in under 17 hours. That's just wild.
