It lets us connect our PCs to a CAN or LIN bus network and send or receive data frames via an sophisticated software. The software enables us to filter frames, check timing parameters and data as well as write frames to simulate missing parts of any existing physical bus (Residual bus simulation)

Loin de la discussion, je n'ai que les soupirs et les râles du bonhomme qui s'est visiblement fait remballer via un simple "Je sais ce que je fais." du chauffeur.
Effectivement, 6 min plus tard, on rattrape l'itinéraire habituel qui dévoile des travaux un peu plus bas.
Le mec a fermé sa gueule, mais bien trop tard. Pas d'excuses entendues.

Just bought train+bus tix from Melbourne to Lorne in December, for a brief holiday for @NarrelleMHarris and myself. Still very impressed with the $10 fare cap across Victoria - this trip used to cost more than double that.
Mother & child, both newcomers to the city, didn't know to push the rear door open to get off a #bus... (They're Chinese like me. In East Asia, the exiting doors are opened by the driver. And yes, I did help them out.) I'm wondering if those driver-activated customer-operated doors have any real benefit over having the driver open the exit doors? It appears to increase the time needed to deboard, which seems too much over the supposed benefit of discouraging some fare evasion... #PublicTransport
@kupfers every time #foot passengers use the #boat, they are effectively reminded that motorists are more important than them, that they must wait for the motorists, that they are a nuisance that the #ferry company must hire buses for. Eventually most take the hint and either use a #car, or at least get a #bus ticket. Foot passage seems to be provided under sufferance.

Mal wieder kein Platz für mich mit #Rollstuhl im #Bus neben Kinderwagen und Rollator. Ich saß schließlich mitten im Weg , die Dame mit Rollator musste leider stehen, einfach scheize!
Ich selbst fühle mich sehr unwohl wenn ich sehe, dass jemand der eigentlich einen Sitzplatz braucht stehen muss weil ich auch Platz brauche. Ich wurde meinerseits andauernd angerampelt
KVG #Lüneburg ist dies seit Jahren egal. Es verkehren unterschiedliche Busse, es steht nicht im Fahrplan wie groß der Rollstuhl-rollaror-kinderwagen-Berreich ist. Ist immer Überraschung ob Mensch mitfahren kann.
Nur: es gibt derzeit ein Notfahrplan in Lüneburg, die Busse fahren so selten, stark frequentierte Linie nur alle 30min, dass ich den Bus unbedingt nehmen wollte .
Ich war gerade in Hamburg. diesbezüglich sieht es viel besser aus, es gibt Platz für mehrere Rollstühle Nebst Kinderwagen in den meisten Bussen.

The early 90s marked the end of a decades-long era of state-owned regional #transit agencies in the #Netherlands. This system was pretty inefficient overall, but some top-down efforts were made to gain at least some economies of scale. One of them was a standardized regional #bus "standaardstreekbus", seen in this #photo I took in 1990. There were many variations on the design and they were built by a number of companies. This one was built by Den Oudsten, probably in the early 1980s.

Really interesting initative in the West of England -- free bus travel in the month of your birthday. The idea is reach new potential passengers. The Swedish city of Gothenburg trialled boosting the share of public transport in 2019 with free two-week passes, and the results showed that around 20% of those receiving free tickets have become regular users of public transport as a result.

I'm going to try _a thing_. There are two related phenomena regarding #cars and #PublicTransport that I basically never see discussed. I wrote an article about these two things which includes two very clear definitions. I want to see if I can get some reach to disseminate these two things like a mind virus.
Boost if you like. Or don't. I'm not your boss.
The premise: when you own a #car, it is cheaper to drive the car. But: we want to get people out of their cars, even while they still own cars.
The definitions:
- Sunk cost discount: for as long as you own a car, it is cheaper relative to public transport to use that car for individual journeys, even though you would save money if you got rid of the car and exclusively used public transport.
- Trip cost scaling problem: for each additional passenger taking a journey together, the cost per passenger becomes lower when travelling by car, but higher when travelling by public transport.
