It is not too surprising that we will not see the next/final season of Star Trek Discovery until April, five months after the last new episode (Lower Decks).

Star Trek episodes typically take a year after filming for all the effects and post production work, and nothing else live action has been filmed yet.

Ten episodes of Discovery will get us into June. After that, Paramount+ will have no other new Star Trek until late 2024, at the soonest. More likely 2025.

Will see when Prodigy appears on Netflix. I hope that CBS Studios (the separate entity that actually produces Star Trek) has enough influence to not have Discovery and Prodigy airing in the same weeks.

Top Ten Corporate Tax Dodgers from Citizens for Tax Justice’s Report

1. Not only did media giant #TimeWarner pay nothing in federal income taxes last year, it received a rebate of $26 million from the IRS even though it made $4.3 billion in U.S. profits.
