- ACC teams are locked in financially until 2036.
- FSU won't leave if it can't make more money in a richer conference or as an independent. The SEC already has a Florida team. FSU lacks Notre Dame's international appeal.
- College Football Playoffs expand to 12 teams next season. This won't happen again.

Wow. So #FloridaState goes undefeated, wins the #ACC, and doesn't make the #CFP?
Instead, #Texas (which is fine, decent pick for number 3) and #Alabama make it with one loss each.
That's ridiculous.
It's almost like the #SEC has a guaranteed spot... The selection criteria needs to be clarified, because the way this shook out is absolutely nonsensical.
As a Nebraska Football fan, Florida States is not one of my favorite programs. However, leaving FSU out of the #CFP and bringing Alabama is wrong. The committee blew it.
@emarktaylor @cfb I just read up on this and talked to my dad about it. It’s such a travesty! It’s even worse than the time they excluded an undefeated #UCF from the #CFP and I was upset about that too.
#CFP final ranking to determine the playoffs ended exactly as expected:
1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Texas
4. Alabama
Florida State was left out, despite being one of three undefeated teams. And as expected, they were left out because the two backup quarterbacks showed they would not have been able to keep up with the other three teams.

Hannah Feldman (ANU), Richard Koech (CQU) and Rachel Cardell-Oliver (UWA) invite you and your networks to submit an abstract in the area of Smart #Water Management.
Smart water management employs information and communication #technology as a means for responding to fundamental water management challenges. Smart water management requires integration of a range of #systems (across technical, environmental, social, and beyond) in order to monitor, control and regulate water usage and quality.
We welcome manuscripts from a number of diverse fields, including #engineering, #economics, #humanities, #cybernetics, social sciences, modelling, political sciences, #history, and many more.
The current #deadline for abstracts via web portal is Monday 20 November, though this will be extended.
Please contact hannah.feldman@anu.edu.au if you are interested in submitting to this special issue and the portal is inaccessible. Additional abstract submissions will be considered until 4 December.
