The city of #Athens, seen from a hill on #Agistri island about 40 kilometres away. In the center of the image, you can see the #Acropolis in front of Mount #Lycabettus, and especially the west pediment of the #Parthenon glowing in the evening sun.

A pair of tits are cleaning the rain gutter on the old greenhouse in my garden. It seems there is something edible in there.

Reddish brown bird in my garden. I'm not entirely sure about the species, though I would think it is most likely a juvenile blackbird (Turdus merula).

Another visitor in my garden: A European goldfinch. It was accompanied by a common chaffinch (which is often the case, as the two species form social groups together).
