Here’s a pair of #weirdCars for you, Mastodon! It’s a Daimler-Benz Unimog and a Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer! The Unimog is an off-road capable, do-it-all farm and construction workhorse, and the Pinzgauer is an Austrian-made troop carrier, fitting 10 crew in the bed of the truck. Owners of both vehicles use them for off-road adventures and for transporting many kids and their friends (now tethered with aftermarket seat belts) to amusement parks.

The answer to yesterdays controversial #NameThatCar challenge, turned out perhaps more controversial than anticipated as the colour scheme of the car in the photo was very unusual.

The car was a BMW Z3 Coupe, the awkward looking if better handling sibling to the much more common Z3 convertible. Its design was certainly polarising and it sold in smaller numbers than the convertible.
Well done if you got it right.

There is a very real probability I fractured my toe getting this picture. On Porto Santo there are apparently raised concrete cycle lane dividers which neither I nor my flip flop wearing foot realised as I strode across the road at full pace. The pain!

It's a 15 year old Audi TT. It's painted in a seizure-inducing shade of luminescent turquoise. It's got red sports break calipers and has probably had some other stuff done to it that I can't properly identify. Whoever drives this is not a good person. I'm going to suggest they are probably cruel to women, children and animals and they don't recycle. They almost certainly live off a diet of McDonald's, lager and cocaine, and they don't own a proper pair of shoes.

I'm such a sad old tosser. Saw a mclaren in the wild and couldn't help myself taking a photo. Looked up and there's another bloke about my age looking at me sheepishly and I realised he's doing exactly the same thing.
