@maxgross We own the responsibilities of taking care of them and seeing them over the bridge if it comes to that. Otherwise , managing a multiple cat household makes me think of my cats as shareholders and I'm just an administrative assistant.

Washed all the water bowls, refilled all the food towers, replaced the batteries on all the kitty toys, removed the knots from the white longhair kitty, gave the medication to the one with the allergy, helped the black long hair kitty cleanup from the sugar powder she somehow put on her coat and now providing pets for the oldest one.

@AkkalonAS Remove any dry food you may be leaving out for noshing on whenever they want. Pick a table or counter or room for each & give them separate food at set times each day (morning & night). Talk with your vet on options for feeding the chonky one. That's really the only way to control their weight.

Tomorrow morning my wife and I are taking our oldest cat Nolla to the Vet for her last visit. Sadly it is not cheap to put a beloved pet down. Thankfully GoodVets in Streeterville is going to work with us and help us pay it over time. @frankiespurlock In my experience, cats are pretty clear on consent. If they move away or bring out the claws or teeth, that's a no. Everything else, they're okay.
