The Pagans released their first record, “Street Where Nobody Lives” b/w “What's This Shit Called Love?”

These guys were part of the early Cleveland punk scene, alongside The Dead Boys. The Pagans released this and three other singles before breaking up in 1979, then reforming again in ‘82 for a year. They would do this a couple more times, with a final run from 2014 to 2017, with different lineups with each stint.

I love the guitar and bass sound on these early singles. It’s got that classic rough, fast, and angry punk sound you hear from a lot of early DIY bands of the late 70s and early 80s.
