I finally tried out the #DiscoElysium commission I got after doing a practice run on my own character! He wanted his to be wearing Kim's jacket so I figured I'd just base it off of Kim's profile picture. I rather like how it turned out! I also have a timelapse of the lining/coloring process!

Pretty darn happy with how she turned out! She still doesn't have an official name other than 'froginajar' but she's yet to tell me.

It's not often I follow through with spontaneous painting urges, but I'm pleased with how this study turned out!

It is no secret that adobe is a wildly unethical company with barely functioning software that uses predatory sale and subscription tactics, holding the creative industries in a stranglehold.
To make an example: Substance painter is made to not open projects made with newer versions of the software from the old ones, thus making one time purchase of their product not viable if you wish to collaborate or use a project given to you without having to purchase again for a newer version.

We as creatives need to steer away from adobe software:
-Don't recommend it to people.
-Stop supporting them by buying new versions of their software
-Move different software.

We can help loosen their grip on creativity.

Heres some software alternatives I have used and/or know about.

1. From a user's POV inside a VR headset, a cute robot character floats into view. "Hi! I'm Genie," it says, "Your A.I.-powered entertainment bot! What do you want to watch today?" "I wanna watch a movie where Spider-Man fights Batman at Wrestlemania!" the user responds.
2. The user sits in his recliner, a beer in his hand. "Sorry," Genie says, "I'm afraid I can't do that." "Why not?" asks the user. "I thought A.I. can create whatever I want."
3. In the headset, Genie explains. "Well, see… Spider-Man is owned by Disney, Batman is owned by Warner Bros, and Wrestlemania is WWE. To combine them legally, I would need a licensing agreement between all three companies that allows for…" it trails off.
4. Later, on the side of the road, two sanitation workers empty trash cans into a garbage truck. "Hey look!" one says, holding up something he fished out of a can: "Another pair a'them expensive goggles!"
