In today's #crafternoon I experimented with collaging with an old book, stickers, washi tape, and used tea bags. This was not at all what I had planned on doing, but you see there was this little scrap of cardboard on my desk, and I also happened to find a random envelope in my backpack, and there was also a book of stickers on my desk and then that happened. Oops.

I used to do some collage art a good few years ago. Not sure why i gave it up.
So i thought i would try and pick it up again. Boy, did i have fun with a big dash of frustration. lol I still have a ways in getting it looking just right - colour schemes, textures, images etc etc. But there are lots of tutorials for me to look at to get inpsiration,and stuff to make art pieces with, so i might get fully back into it. Who knows?

when i make #collage, i love the feeling of spreading all my paper pieces out & rearranging by hand...i look at it...shuffle things around...etc...
but i haven't yet figured out how to do the same thing on the comp. maybe i just need a big external monitor? i don't know...it's too slow to move things around, i can't see everything, & then i don't want to do it. my digital collages are lying in pieces...
does anyone have tips/trix for such a problem? ;_;
