Just read a great series by ace comic book writer Geoff Johns, titled Stargirl: The Lost Children. In it, he "reintroduces" dozens of supposedly forgotten kid sidekicks of classic superheroes into the DC Universe. It's a lot of fun to read; Johns knows how to use continuity while adding something fresh. Will be interesting to see what he does with these characters in the new ongoing Justice Society series.

Lately with non-fiction comics, I start by compiling a big research folder. In here are articles, clippings of social media conversation I found interesting, pieces of commentary from other artists, ugly pictures made by #Midjourney of cats fondling bitcoin medallions, academic texts and other detritus.

This block focused on #illustration in album and #comicbook art. The highlight was hearing #AbdulHaqq talk about some of his cover designs for #DetroitTechno releases and the books of #Drexciya which are very scarce. More importantly he had a few copies for sale! We got both volumes and 2 prints!
