Once the performers have a handle on a new composition, the #composer can help with questions of interpretation, pacing, shaping etc. So the second rehearsal is a good one to hear.
But if I don’t get to hear them til the dress rehearsal, then whatever they do I just say that’s great, go for it. By then it’s too late for significant changes, and I’d rather they play it with confidence.

We've had an internal linter for years, which is built on a PHP #symphony framework.
You run the linter you want and append `--fix` if you want it to resolve issues (if it can)
It lints things like #JS, #SCSS as well as #PHP (via #Rector and #phpstan), #Composer files and even #TYPO3 TypoScript files - all by using the open source libraries available.
It means all our developers can adhere to central linting conventions without having to update local config files.
I've been tasked with updating a lot of websites, and decided to move them to a newer, better server. Funny enough, the migration is dead simple. The upgrading has been a lot. The days before composer was a dark time.

When we moved to CI deployment (a couple of years ago), I created an image with composer, node and PHP so we can build and deploy our assets. It was 500mb.
I was questioned why it was so big and I didn't have a good answer. In the space of a couple of hours (thank you Docker, Alpine and Stack Overflow) I got it down to 100mb.

I did a lot of experimenting with this piece, playing with time and pattern, and stability. In a way I'm quite glad it's the show's only music because it has a lot to say.
I put it on Bandcamp today, and am letting it go into the rest of the world shortly. I'm trying to lean into Bandcamp though, because of all the ways to support me, my music, and this show, it's the clear winner!

I have lots of thoughts about this piece of music.
The Last Echoes doesn't have space for a lot of music. Episodes are 10ish minutes long, and scoring them didn't feel right, but this one song serves as opening and closing, and... it's been sitting in my head for even longer than the show has.
Loneliness in the huge emptiness of space, maintaining your pattern without anything solid around you, room to grow and be and change.
