But critics say the German capital is lagging.

@jake4480 when I visited lisbon last year, I noticed left-wing #propaganda and symbols a lot more than anywhere else I'd been. I'd love to grow in that kind of culture. I saw pictures from streets and neighborhoods in the us that have been barricaded and harbor safe #communities. we have plenty of organizations here, some dating back decades like christiania in #copenhagen. are you part of some community from the places you've lived in?

Some changes for the life between buildings in Copenhagen.
As part of this plan, they also want to redesign the beloved Hans Tavsens Park in my old neighbourhood (NIMBYs of course disapprove).
Another trend (which isn't directly related to water management, but fairly complimentary) is the increasing presence of native "wild" flora in the green spots around the city, which has come about as a reaction to the biodiversity crisis.

Taking kid and 4 friends for birthday treat today. Half the other parents have cars but I'm taking them on the bus (hard to fit 5 kids in a normal car legally even if I wanted to). It will take maybe 15 mins longer than driving. We're lucky to live in a city with good public transport but even so it wasn't my first choice, in spite of never owning a car, maybe because I grew up with cars as first option? Normalising this stuff is hard even in #Copenhagen.

Last night, I packed our cargo bike with my telescope and some blankets for a solo cargo bike adventure.
I went out in the middle of an open field to check out Saturn and Jupiter. It was my first time viewing planets in a telescope. Saturn in particular (with the ring going around it) was such a special experience.
I got a collapsible telescope since it the best size to bring on the cargo bike (to escape light pollution).
