I had the please to do all things design for my brothers and his now wife's (👋) #wedding this summer! They wanted it to be like a nice #evening around the #campfire with friends (and it totally was! ^__^) so I tried to capture that feeling in this #illustration.

Their #cats are named after #Ghibli characters, so obviously I had to include that ^__^

The third may be dressed up as a gypsy but it's hard to tell in the photo. They're wearing a dress (or blouse and skirt) that are part-solid colored and part-patterned. Their face is covered in white makeup and they have thin, twisted hair hanging down past their shoulders. It's probably a wig but it's hard to know for sure.

Six kids (?) wearing normal-looking street clothes (pants, shirts, or dresses) but each is wearing a "mask" over their heads. Each "mask" is different. They appear to be made out of boxes that are just big enough to put their heads into. Each one is, of course, flat on the sides and on the top but they're covered in black "hair" that's probably made from yarn, I'd guess. The "hair" hangs down the sides of each "mask", including the face - except that each face has been cut free of the yarn so that the result is a black head with a white face. (Probably looks pretty spooky in the dark.) Each face has a cone nose (think of having an ice cream cone in the center of your face) with eyes and a mouth cut out of the box so the wearer can see and speak.

What my #subconscious has come up with is kind of a #solarsystem #model?

More spheres on the circles (planets) with copper rings (orbits) and smaller spheres (moons) around the center. They're all made of „natural“ materials, like glass, wood, fabric, copper etc.
