I don't know anything about Sen. #BobMenendez. I'm listening to him speak live right now.
My opinion is probably unpopular considering the spray of evidence shown at the #DOJ press conference, but I don't believe Menendez should resign.
He may be guilty. He probably is. But he is no different than the dozens of GOP in Congress who have been implicated, some indicted, of crimes who have stayed in office until the bitter end, and with the support of their peers.
Let the process work.

Google had challenged the government’s posting of the documents online, and the court was sympathetic to its concerns. The result: a trial much more difficult for the public to follow than the similarly monumental and widely watched antitrust case against Microsoft Corp. in the 1990s.

#DOJ has indicted a sitting U.S. Senator for bribery. I imagine the evidence is air tight or they wouldn't be talking about it on TV. I support their efforts.
However, I don't support the fact that they seemingly step away from other obvious cases of malfeasance that also include illegality like what has been done & is being done by Clarence & Ginni Thomas. How can anyone describe the activity as anything other than bribery?

The newly #unsealed docs — an exhaustive record of the #legal fight between #Twitter & the #DOJ over whether to hide the execution of the #warrant from #Trump — added a few new details about what the govt may have been seeking.
For example, the materials showed that prosecutors wanted to learn if there were other accounts that Trump had been logging into from the same IP address he used for his Twitter account…. it was not clear whether… investigators had a specific reason to be asking.
The 32 messages, whose content has not been disclosed, were only a small fraction of the larger body of data that #Twitter was forced to turn over under the terms of the #warrant, the new court papers said.
