This is an abstract watercolor painting. I wanted to capture the water elements of wave energy with a butterfly wing. At least that's the underlying theme - it's also designed to give a vast swirl sensation of being caught up in the art piece. There is deeper ocean water color in the center, with a circular wave & cloud shapes below. The background is gray. Small amounts of pale red & orange are mixed in as well. The butterfly wing is outlined in a dark blue but with flaming yellow and smoky clouds to indicate movement. Small, undefined shapes and shadows are also present but depend on angle viewed.

First art piece for 2023. Eggshells on a Rainbow. Painted in Procreate and inspired by the eggshells left behind after my husband made chopped liver last night. My youngest designed the plate the shells are sitting on.
