On this morning there was a heavy fog/mist on Moon River but I was lucky to get the golden glow highlight the fallen trees, bushes and reeds along the island shore. It ended up being a beautiful sunrise with great reflections on the water.

This is the famous Pont du Gard, in southern France. Built in the C1st CE, it once carried about 40,000 cubic metres of water a day to the Roman city of Nemausus (modern Nimes).
I was camping nearby a few years ago, and got up especially early to see this magnificent structure as the sun came up. It was so early there were no tourists on it yet, and I had the whole scene to myself. It was a magical half hour.

NCL Norwegian Dawn NYC ©Debra Martz We weren't the only cruise ship arriving early in New York. We had just passed under the Verrazzano - Narrows Bridge seen in the background at 6 am, April 20th.
