Gosh, I'd forgotten the pleasures and pains of abstract review for a conference. Pet peeves this morning:
โ ๏ธ Vendors submitting piss-poor product pitch abstracts. It doesn't take a genius to see through your abstract.
If you're a vendor, be open about your talk and its content. Pitching per se is not evil, but trying to hide it is. If you have useful things to say then perhaps your talk will be useful for the conference. But be upfront and honest about it. (1/n)

The nice part was I could actually ask it questions about the examples it gave me. I could then use my understanding to now ask new questions.
With about 5 questions answered, I now feel much more comfortable with Spring Data REST.
This was actually pretty darn helpful. I basically had chatGPT write the getting started that I wish existed.

While traditional ads might not fly in the #fediverse, Iโd expect a whole lot of that money to move into sponsored content should #mastodon and other federated services keep growing. When influencer accounts โrecommendโ something, or just spontaneously decide try something and have their โmind blownโโฆ itโs almost never genuine. Seen a lot of this in #devrel recently.

I found myself inspired last night to start researching Masters of Computer Science Education online programs last night. Specifically the teaching of computer science is where I want to go. I see how this fits within #DevRel / developer education.
My undergrad work was in Business Education, which does include CIS/programming.
I may even consider going for the doctoral one day.
