Think I need to add more ammo at the beginning however, I was having to punch a cacodemon to death when I last tested it.

Naladěn četbou dostal jsem chuť na #DOOM. Zvolil jsem "No Rest for the Living", megawad dostupný z oficiální distribuce na Steamu. Neohroženě jsem navolil Ultra-Violence, což byl omyl... hrozný omyl! V šesté mapě (z devíti) jsem definitivně kapituloval a doběhnu si to s IDDQD :)) Původní DOOM 1 i 2 samozřejmě na UV proběhnu s prstem v nose a s páskou přes oči, ale tohle je tedy jiné kafe, poněkud silnější :)

Finished Doom I, Doom II, on my way to finish Sigil. Now I wonder what to do next. Doom II master levels, or Doom 64 (started) or some other megawad. I had more fun playing all this Doom than any other modern games. Just pure fun, no bullshit.

Will be finishing off with a short intro graphics programming lecture and maybe some examples, if the donations go high enough.
The group we're raising for is Games for Love ( https://gamesforlove.org/ ), a charity who's mission it is to provide games and consoles to children in hospitals, to help distract and ease suffering.

And that was what I already didn't like about #Doom. How can I be upset about killing an enemy in a shooter just because they blinked, I didn't use a finisher, and I didn't get any health or ammo back as a result? I want to hit it and be done with it, not get angry about something like that.
10 Line Genocide is a wacky Doom community project where each map is limited to no more than 10 linedefs!
Mappers had to get experimental to work around this strict limitation and to come up with interesting gameplay scenarios. 230 maps by over 100 mappers, this is the biggest Doom community project ever!
Definitely the most fun project I've contributed to. Each of my 5 maps didn't take longer than an hour to build, balance and playtest.

It's #RegionalRiffs time again. An amazing band from here in Arizona (that I really miss- they broke up after their 2017 album) was TWINGIANT. Gnarly, heavy shit. Bass player Jared's rough growl-scream vocals, walls of guitars, doomy, some Motorhead in there too. I saw em twice and we hung out both times too (once with my now wife before we were married!)
