I have a #dream that #Americans will remember that they are a #nation of immigrants and so they will change US immigration laws to be more welcoming and tolerant of new immigrants. Most immigrants become #illegals because existing laws are stupid, cruel and reactionary towards immigrants. This must change. #America should accept up to five million law-abiding immigrants a year, allowing them to become US citizens within ten years. #USA shall welcome hardworking and talented immigrants.

You know how, when opening certain links, your phone knows to open those in a specific app. For example, you click a Youtube link and it opens in the Youtube app.

Or you click on an email link and it opens your favorite Mail app. Or you click on an URL in an app and your phone knows what your favorite internet browser app is and uses that one.

i had a dream that someone edited the code on my page https://www.sloanslake.art in such a way that the css code was in the main text and then when i loaded it this morning i thought the dream was coming true and that someone had edited the page, but it was just taking time for the images to load.

but then i went and edited the code to make it true and screen shotted it and put it on mastodon.

an important point in the #dream was the yellow font. so this is a yellow font pointing at itself via self-replicating #css code. we use the five elements of #cybermagic for the full replication, and these are:

I was stuck in a hotel and the only way I could leave was if my sister and I agreed on it, but whenever I wanted to leave she didn't and vice versa. I went into the bathroom and noticed that my belly button had become swollen, with large protuberances branching off of its sides like some sort of alien plantlife made of flesh. I kept digging earwax out of my ears and there was a never-ending supply of it. I just kept finding more crud in my ears. It eventually turned black. I tried to distract myself by watching TV, but the only thing on every channel was a movie adaptation of the video game Streets of Rage starring Mark Wahlberg. It was not good. Nothing was resolved.

Bois-du-Luc was a coal mine in Houdeng-Aimeries, near La Louvière, in Belgium which today is preserved as an UNESCO world heritage site. It was one of the oldest mines in Belgium, with recorded activity dating back to 1685. The mining site closed down in 1973 and has been a museum since 1983.

Quite the dream last night in which I could barely move whilst the rest of the world raced by at incredible speed. All ended oddly with an entirely invented song called "I want to be somebody else (today)" which was sung, in my dream by somebody with a voice similar to Iggy Pop.

Had a #dream I was on a #bus reading a book abt different music genres. For country music it said "the country singer brings his own guitar, but an orchestra is also required." Suddenly the bus was crammed full of people (the orchestra) and someone put their instrument case on top of me and I couldn't move so I got scared and woke up LOL

I had this dream last night. I was the middle of three brothers. The eldest was huge, grown and abusive . I fought him to protect my younger brother, and won. I sat happily on the couch with the small child cradled in my lap. It felt good. Then I woke up.

In the dream I inhabited this identity and had no sense of conflict or indeed consciousness of my normal self.

(I am actually the eldest child with a younger sister).

Freaky.

Die letzten starken Regenfälle zeigen, dass wir die Natur nicht ungeprüft zubauen dürfen. In unserer Nachbarschaft gab es mehrfache Überflutungen von Häusern. Deshalb: Rettet die Obstbaumwiesen!

Der liegende Torso einer großen Schläferin bildet mit der linken Schulter einen Hügel, auf dem ein Schaf mit seinem Lamm steht. Sie stellt die personifizierte Streuobstwiese dar. Der Kopf der Figur ist zur Hälfte im Erdreich versunken. Ein Bach umfließt sein Profil. Um den Kopf herum liegen Abfallprodukte unserer Zivilisation wie Ölfässer und ausrangierte Gegenstände aus dem Haushalt. Links hinter dem Schulter-Hügel erhebt sich eine Stadt mit ihren dicht gebauten Wohnblocks und Häusern. Rechts vorne schreitet eine weiß verhüllte Figur über einen Blumenteppich aus dem Bild. Sie trägt einen abgestorbenen Obstbaum über der Schulter. Die träumende Figur scheint sie dabei mit der linken Hand, die angewinkelt und schlaff auf der Wiese liegt, aufhalten zu wollen.
Rechts im Hintergrund erhebt sich ein zweiter Hügel, der die Hüfte der Schläferin sein könnte. Eine Schafherde grast darauf. Weiter im Vordergrund sind die vielfältigen Blumen der Wiese zu erkennen, insbesondere eine Bachnelkenwurz.

I #dream I am in a shop when someone else’s young child accidentally breaks a very large expensive mirror. I am surprised when the parent offer to pay the shop owner for the cost and the owner refuses- saying it wasn’t the child’s fault and they won’t hear of being reimbursed.

To be in a shop where all the people are being kind, reasonable and humane feels like a rare occurrence.
