I had to fill some pretty large gaps with CA (superglue) and sculpting compound (Apoxie Sculpt.)
Primed with decanted #Tamiya primers and painted almost exclusively with #ArmyPainter acrylics.
Many overlapping layers of washes and dry-brushes, just to see how it would turn out.
The drool was done with #Vallejo gloss varnish and cheap UV craft resin.

The setting neutral classes don't work IMHO. I tried to convert the Dragon Knight class out of it's system neutral language into OSE. But it never felt quite right. Strange for a setting targeting a D&D basic vibe. You shouldn't be having difficulties making it fit with OSE
Should have just been truly systemless where you publish the bulk of the setting sans crunch, then you just republish a slimmer volume for each system your supporting.

I feel like Meryath was only ever meant to be a waypoint/starting area for the ongoing Star Phoenix Air Ship Adventure, but then that means it's really of limited appeal from a sandbox perspective.
Instead of starting in one area and zooming out to neighboring countries in later gazetteers. Which area got covered in the next Gazetteer was based around the voyage of the Star Phoenix adventure. But whose campaign was playing that exact same path when there were years between installments?

The new DNDBeyond "maps" (VTT) requires a paid subscription, but I already had that to share my books.
I do wish it didn't have to be the DM who has the sub though. For content sharing any party member can pay to make their books available to all, but for maps it has to be thr DM who is paying.
I had to switch who “pays" for our group to be the account of our DM, which meant cancelling my subscription and adding my credit card on my nephew’s account 😅
Wow DNDBeyond finally added a "maps" feature (VTT, virtual tabletop) that integrates with their services!
Tried it very briefly and it’s extremely limited, but works to upload a map and add your character tokens, as well as tokens for all the monsters you have in your content library. Very cool!

i've never been, or been in a party with a kobold before, so I'm making my first.

The Double Empathy Problem is like you're D&D characters, and your CHA (charisma) is only full-strength with your own neurotype. When autistics encounter allistics, each sees the other's CHA at -4. Autistics can use the Masking skill to help on some CHA rolls.
The Social Model of Disability is like how a Halfling is fine in their home village, but in a Human town they are too short to reach all the things that have been built for people twice their height.
Am I on the right track here? What would make these better? And do folks have other explanations they have had success using?

It's fun, highly entertaining and full of heart and #DnD fantasy. You could probably even re-create the party from the movie in the game. Hope there's a sequel!🤞
