Of course, the history that I was taught is often riddled with mistakes and inaccuracies. However, themes or trends can emerge.
Ancient Israel had judges, and they were pretty 😎. So cool that the people decided to make the Judges rulers. Some of them were warrior-judges. This did not work out so well, and they reverted to other forms of governance.

I'm not sure when it might be advantageous to attempt to delay a session. It feels like we're not there yet.
To put my logic for wanting to #ExpandTheCourt simply:
It allows for a more representative body indicative of the size of our country.
It also helps rebalancing if a #Democrat is #POTUS to, quite frankly, offset the seats stolen and sold.
The counter to "what if the next time the #GOP is in control..."

This Court has relegated women, minorities and LGBTQIA people to second-class citizen status in a year; they rule FOR religion when the US is not a theocracy, and many Justices can be considered corrupt and compromised.
This Court is not representative of American demographics, political affiliation, nor values held in common.
The last three Justices perjured themselves during their confirmation hearings in vowing to uphold Roe precedent, and Kavanaugh also lied about sexual assault.
To whom are these Justices accountable as they rip apart the fabric we have come to rely on in our country? If what value is precedent if Justices funded by oligarchs can undo it?
It’s time for deep changes to this deeply flawed body.
The Senate needs to reign in SCOTUS. Introduce a bill to #ExpandTheCourt and, simultaneously, haul Alito and Thomas in to congressional hearings about their gross misconduct. Democrats needs to visibly and loudly fight for the rights of Americans rather than fundraising off their “stern disapproval” with zero action. The American public is with them on these issues.
