Kein Problem. Danke dass du auf meine Nachricht geantwortet hast. Das Problem wurde von mir gelöst, wobei es kein Problem im eigentlichen Sinne war, sondern die schlecht gelöste GNOME Suchanzeige. Ich habe dich im passende Thread erwähnt und hier der SchreenShot zur Vollständigkeit beigefügt.

Problem gefunden. Es werden nur die ersten 5 Treffer in der Übersicht angezeigt. Der 6te oder 7te usw Treffer geht einfach unter. => @gnome@floss.social

Wenn man mehrere ähnlich lautende Apps hat, dann ist die Anzeige schlecht! Hier sollte nachgebessert werden.
Ich habe die passende Wine-App deinstalliert und siehe da: "gedit" taucht auf. 💪

Finally updated to Fedora 38!
@freechelmi I have only used #fedora38 so far but according to this @itsfoss article, you can upgrade to a newer version in one click. If this is the case, i should be able to upgrade to #fedora39 when it comes out.

Finally got my hardware issues with the PC at home worked out. That box definitely lived up to its namesake (Marvin, as in the paranoid android from Hitchhiker's Guide) but it looks to be running fine now. First big test was moving to #Fedora38 (#KDEPlasma spin, of course) and it worked like a charm.
I'm happily back in my favorite OS, and all it took was a month of downtime and 3 separate RMAs, lol.

Antes de cambiarme a fedora, usaba entre mis app habituales, linssid y ipscan. Y ahora en fedora no estan empaquetadas en rpm y tampoco en flatpack. Solo se puede usar paqueteria APT. No se si habra alternativas a estas, llevo un bune rato buscando y no veo nada . Si alguin sabe y me puede ayudar lo agradeceria.

Now that I became a linux user (#Fedora38 #GNOME to be precise) started distancing from myself from bigtech starting with trying out a 1T storage option provided by a german company #Hetzner (they hosts #Mastodon's main servers as well I think).
On top of storage you get a preinstalled #Nextcloud system so you have all the Basic features like at #GoogleDrive or #OneDrive.

One thing which really grinds my gears:
Using #GoogleMeet on #Fedora38 with a #nvidia GPU (with Xorg).
Everytime there is a driver update, I can't use #Vivaldi or #Chromium and have to resort to #Chrome because the effects and background blurring don't work anymore. After a few days there's usually another xorg, vulkan or nvidia hotfix(?) and I can change browsers again.
And yes: Firefox is no option with Google Apps.

Definitivamente hay que no tener #Mac para usar #Linux. Será cuando ha esta computadora muera para bien o cuando alguna cosa pase que haré la transición de lleno.
Por alguna razón no podía actualizar #Fedora38 ni con el Software Centre ni con la Terminal. Si lo hacía con el primero se mandaba a reiniciar y no se instalaba nada, si lo hacía con el segundo entraba en un bucle extraño de shells y me empezaba a comer toda la RAM. Los del foro y chat no cachaban qué hacer.

Verschiedene Problemchen dabei angetroffen, bis es am Ende funktioniert hat 🫡
Am Ende voll confident mein Prod-System (F38) umgestellt.

Ayer instalé #fedora38 aprovechando que por fin terminé el master. Unas dependencias de Megasync me impedían hacer upgrade desde Fedora 37 y no encontré la forma de solucionarlas.

Currently upgrading NVIDIA drivers, as i just made the temporary (or possibly permanent switch) from #archlinux to #fedora. So far i love how simple encryption is, let’s see how this goes!

Safe to delete and reinstall the offending library? Just reinstalling doesn't actually change / replace these files at all.
To be clearer: I get these errors every time I run dnf, tough it always seems to finish properly.

Sadly, #fedora38 doesn't play nicely on my #MacBookPro 2010. #Fedora36 worked out of the box (once RPMfusion was installed!) #Apple left my Mac behind years ago hence switching to #Linux but it seems it's goodbye to Fedora too! Fear not, #Linuxmint saves the day! It may be Windows-Like but I was going off #Gnome44 anyway. It's Rock-Solid, fast, built-in #Flatpak and has no problem powering a large external display! Good job @linuxmint
why does #hibernate and #suspend never work for me. My Thinkpad goes to sleep and never wakes up. 😴

He vuelto a #xfce-terminal, maneja mejor los emojis, he añadido previsualización de imágenes en #ranger y he cambiado el comando de inicio de sesion en la terminal de #neofetch a #wttr.in custom. También he cambiado el scheme de #vim a #Papercolor con retoques 😉

Over the past few days #fedora #fedora38 has decided to freeze up in a very specific way: I can usually continue to use the running programs for a while, but most syscalls (saving files, opening new firefox tabs or other processes, trying to run a program in a terminal) will just not complete and the computer ends up unusable.

In just a little over two weeks (May 16) Fedora 36 will go EOL! Make sure you set aside some time to upgrade to Fedora 37 or Fedora 38 before then!
