This was a good one from my recent trip to #Wales. Street Luge is an absolutely ludicrous activity - these guys would be going 40+ mph in tight packs through each corner.

...that said, when Rollei Retro 400S comes through, it can produce lovely images.

It's taken a lot of work to get to this point, though. And I do mean a LOT - multiple rolls, constant tweaking of development times and agitation schemes... it would have been a lot easier to just stick with HP5+.

Not as fun, however.

Rollei Retro 400S really doesn't like any degree of underexposure.

That said, it's not a big fan of overexposure, either. I don't think I've ever known a film as fussy as this one.

#Röntgenfilm passt sehr gut zur #BrokenBody Serie und es wird gern vergessen, dass man darauf tatsächlich gut fotografieren kann - besonders im #Großformat zu lächerlich kleinen Preisen. Auch Luxus wie 8x10" wird dadurch möglich.
Bei den Closeups habe ich die Filme in der Entwicklung dann gerne gequält - sich die Blätter teilweise überlagern lassen oder selbstgemische Rapid-Entwickler benutzt, um mehr organische Strukturen in das Bild zu bekommen ... #analogphotography #filmphotography #analog

I recently picked up a subminiature 16mm film camera. A 1970s or 1980s Kiev-30, manufactured at the Arsenal plant in #Ukraine️. Sadly, it had several light leaks in the test roll photos.

I dismantled and repaired this tiny camera, and wrote a blog article about my experiences taking apart this tiny Soviet era camera.
