There are a lot of problems with the US—I am not apologist—but when it comes to the #FirstAmendment / #FreeSpeech, I have to say we are much better than many other places. On Twitter, Brit Jessica Timor accused Douglas Murray of being a “Nazi apologist.” She received an email from his attorneys and subsequently had to delete her tweets. We have seen this tactic to quiet criticism used most recently by JK Rowling.
Oh and there should be a federal anti-SLAPP law.
