It's bedtime and I feel stimulated, expanded, vibrating. I got into #flow today three times - analysing my business finances, playing with my kid, and proofreading chapter 10.

#ADHD meds are amazing. I have more dopamine! I can get into flow more easily cos the dopamine isn't missing! Progress is very satisfying. But having this much going on is playing havoc with my rest. I'm sleep deprived but not at all sleepy. Time for some gentle yoga before bed.

I tried to just add the queue for the recipient but got an error email telling me there were no recipients. Autoassignment rules do this, isn't there a way for us to tap into that somehow? Autoassignment rules won't work for my use case since another flow does the sorting into queues.

i guess this is only about the specific ways *i’m* wound too tight, but:

when i’m really connecting with a process, the work output seems consistently to be *provision*: a feeling of the world (world-version, experience, sense/surround assemblage, etc.) offering something, awareness of the offer, noticing the ongoing (moments of) choice to accept it or not.

‘in #flow’ i feel it intensely: NOT self-conscious, but self/world-conscious. aware of the moment on offer. imaginative #affordance.

If you've followed me for long know I hate cooking - which isn't entirely true. I hate breaking flow, both when it comes to cooking and when it comes to arting. This means I loooooove batch cooking; freezer meals produced so I can work for days and still have food on time, and lots of nice creative cooking flow. But after yesterday, when I spent four hours making mustard patties and a vegetable soup, I actually feel a bit sore. Ouch!

In my job, I use a tool called ActionableAgile. It's dedicated to managing the #flow of work of #software development teams. When your flow is stable enough when looking at specific parameters, you can build the Monte Carlo simulation in the tool to have an idea of how many tasks would be complete after some time passes.

@DrFerrous Yes, I think those two may be synonymous. It's desired within #coding circles because it involves a sort of fluid, uninterrupted productivity...and I think it is something many coders experience frequently...

I think I experience it sometimes and to me it also feels like a state of calming - thus my ponderings regarding any potential relationship between #meditation and #flow (since the popular conception of meditation, rightly or wrongly, seems to involve calming of the #emotions)
