today’s #caturday is a celebration of paws. from olly’s monster mittens to lucas’s long-limbed luxuriousness, these boys were very good nurses and friends as COVID knocked the humans in the household for a loop.

doing a throwback for this belated #caturday post. i’m always on about my perfect olly and my goblin lucas, so let’s mix it up.
this post shows off the snow speeder lego model olly casually knocked off the very top of a bookshelf into tiny bits, then amused himself surveying the remains and batting them into ever-more difficult-to-access spots.
lucas, meanwhile, is hanging out with his lil boots and crossed paws in the second bedroom, which is where he stayed with me the entire time i had strep throat and had to keep away from my immunocompromised partner. he was a perf nurse and heating pad, even if he did try to stick his whole face in my chicken soup. small price to pay.
My baby Thor is at the vet today, being monitored. He keeps sitting in the litter box for 10-20 minutes at a time, and walking around looking miserable when he's not in the box. I'm sad and a little scared. I wish I could've communicated to him that we were not abandoning him. The wait time for the doctor is 4-6 hours. 😟 Please send Thor some healing thoughts.
