I might have bought a little too much produce, dairy, and meat. So there's been a bevy of flash freezing and preserves-making over the last couple of days.
On the cooker right now: #Tomato jam with special guest stars #Fig and #Plum. I used ginger, ras al hanout, and three threads of saffron as my spice combo.
I tried flash freezing farmer's cheese and, well, results are mixed. The texture of the frozen product seems a little weird, but maybe I should let it thaw before nomming the pieces!
