Probé #DREDGE (versión caribeña) cuando se empezó hablar (muy bien) de este juego. Hoy, de tanto oír hablar de él me lo he acabado pillando en #GOG; está en ofertita. Se me ha ido el santo al cielo y aquí estoy que acabo de terminar una partidilla de una hora y poco. Un poco más y acabo casi a las dos de la madrugada. 🙇

Since I just played through all three of them: The #Thief series currently is available on #GOG for a huge discount. Highly recommended, fantastic games (especially the second one) you won't find like this nowadays.
All of them run fine under #Linux with only minor issues (the Thief 3 console port always was shit). Fan patches available and applicable. #GamingOnLinux #gaming

Спустя много лет, перепрошёл первый сезон Ходячих Мертвецов от #TelltaleGames. Только тут уже сборник всех сезонов в одном Definitive-паке. Ох, помню, в своё время затёр этот сезон до дыр. Знал, чуть ли, не каждую реплику наизусть. Графика, конечно, стала намного приятнее и лучше, чем было в оригинале. #vkBasalt помог очень сильно в этом плане. От концовки до сих пор грустновато на душе. Тут сценаристы справились с работой на ура. Ну что ж, возьму передышку, и возьмусь за второй сезон, который тоже в своё время оставил много воспоминаний и ощущений. Сначала сомневался, стоит ли вообще брать HD версию игр, в часть которых я и так давно играл и не раз, но в итоге остался доволен данным решением.

Me terminé esta cucada de juego de buscar gatos por unas bonitas ilustraciones en un castillo con una maldición. Juego corto (obviamente). Agradable para ratitos. En algo menos de dos horas lo terminé (sin completar al 100%). Lo único que le critico es que no está totalmente traducido. Recomendable si te gusta este tipo de juegos. Es el primero de este tipo que juego. Amor y ronroneos a todos. :blobCatBloc:
So I got #onionos installed on my new #miyoominiplus , and threw some games on it. As far as I can see the #C64 games work, although I haven't tried multi disk games or games that require true 1541 emulation.
The gameboy roms all worked (no surprise there) and #scummvm works as long as I use the original files, I need to see how I can get #gog version to run.
#Dosbox has been a fail so far, looking into ways to use the GOG setup ...
I only have the #MagneticScrolls games for the #amiga, so that wasn't 1st prio (and I need to dig out the roms from cloanto).
I'm not a big Nintendo fan (except the GB of course) so no #NES or #SNES yet, also no #megadrive .
If you have tips or suggestions, post them, please.

I overall like the game, but there's always been some aspect of it that has rubbed me the wrong way, and I think it's this. I'm currently on my second playthrough using the #GOG version, first time I played it was shortly after release on the #PS4 so I'll probably think of something else about it as I get closer to the end.

Sometimes I buy games with no intention of playing them. Reasons for that are varied.
It might be a disaster relief bundle on #itchio.
It may be because a publisher/developer closed down like #FarSkyInteractive.
It may be because I support DRM-free shops and want to see more big names that way.
That last one is why I consider buying #DaysGone on #GOG right now. I might never play it, but I'm happy it's available #DRMFree.

Ich spiele #CP2077 zwar über #Steam, habe aber auch etliches auf #GOG. Das lässt sich sehr einfach über Lutris installieren und die Spiele laufen einwandfrei. Einzig das GOG Programm selbst ist ein wenig lahm, aber egal, weil es ja nur der Starter ist.

Ich kann es nur wiederholen, dieses Adventure Game ist eine kleine zynische und raue Erfahrung. Vollgepackt mit #schwarzerHumor und grenzwertigen Sprüchen hat sich #Hector in mein Herz gespielt. Also alle, die #PointAndClick mögen und auf zuweilen etwas unsensible #Witze stehen, sollten sich dieses #Videospiel mal genauer ansehen.#GOG #Steam
As a user I like #GOG, because of their #DRM-free stance (I would like them more if they had a stronger commitment to #Linux, but I'm OK with the level they're at). One of the things the lack of DRM does is give me the possibility to backup and archive my entire library (good) using an unofficial command line client (less good).
HOWEVER
the backup is *huge*, because of the way things are packaged.

Just a head ups for people using #gog, it seems like they are selling your information, presumably regarding games you purchased to #facebook and #google ads, since thats what most of the emails are about. You can disable it, but it will reenable itself everytime you accept the free game giveaway.

I'd stay away from games that use EA Launcher (formerly Origin), Ubisoft Connect or Microsoft - their unreliable proprietary launchers and/or save file formats (Gamepass) are a major PITA.
Now that 2022 is practically over I have only one video game to recommend. A game you probably never heard of, but it is one of my personal GOTYs. It works beautifully on #SteamDeck (native #Linux binary). Also, you may wish to hurry in order to catch the 50% discount (60% on GOG).
