I'm not mad that my friend outed me as trans behind my back. I'm mad that he misgendered me while doing it.

I'm very publicly agender, and to those who understand the term, I am a eunuch. It's on my work profile and social media, after all. And I tell my friends about my plans for vaginoplasy because I may need their help during my recovery.

So we had a long talk about how having a vagina does not make me a woman any more than having a penis makes me a man. I use he/him pronouns because I feel like the "gender-neutral male" pronoun pretty well sums up how I present.

Hi y'all, I'm Amichai (or Jack) and I am a #queer #transmasc but increasingly #genderqueer person who lives in #Boston MA USA.I use he or they pronouns.

I am in the process of converting to #Judaism.I was raised in a fundigelical xtian family but was a closet atheist by the age of six, and there's still religious trauma I'm working through there.

I live with my husband and our cat (Libby) and dog (Momo). I like posting unexciting photos of them (often "lap check with Libby" and "here's Momo ignoring me again while we're on a walk").

For the USA, I am extremely politically left... which means things like I believe things like #EveryoneDeservesAHome,
#HealthcareForAll, and #LandBack. But I try to tag any political posts with some content warning like #USPol or #MAPol.

I like #reading, studying #Hebrew, learning more about anything #Jewish, and admiring other people's art. I'd love to connect with more Jewish folks, especially Jewish queers of all types.

* Noticeable gender dysphoria.
* Strong dislike of your genitalia, body, voice etc.
* A desire for HRT or surgery.
* A medical diagnosis.

It's enough to feel that your gender doesn't match the one you were arbitrarily assigned at birth.

I'm Pallas. I'm #Aplatonic #aromantic (#demiromantic) and #genderqueer. I consider myself #Omnigender, because I have at least one gender of any quality, but I don't necessarily experience every gender.

I'm technically #asexual and #asensual, but as I experience other types of #PhysicalAttraction strongly, I just say I'm a #grayce #MspecGay

I love retro/vintage things, including but not limited to:#CLassicTV, #OldHollywood #OldSchoolVisualKei, #ClassicalMusic (Mostly from the Galant/classical and romantic periods), #ClassicLiterature, #VintageFashion and more; and I'm particularly interested in the intersection between queerness and those things, like queer artists of the pass and queer rep on old media.

So I had #TopSurgery #DoubleIncision with #NippleGrafts roughly 3 years ago now. I will say my surgeon did a really good job on the nipple grafts. In my humble opinion.

I would love to get nipple piercings someday. But I first wanted to ask anyone who has had top surgery and got nipple piercings, what do I need to know? Or if you are a #piercer and have information/advice, help please! and thank you!

Cool History: The Public Universal Friend

In 1776, after a rough illness, a 24-year-old in Rhode Island claimed to have died. They said they were then resurrected genderless. They abandoned their birth name and pronouns, becoming, the Public Universal Friend.

Becoming a Quaker preacher, The Public Universal Friend gathered a large following and was quite influential. They opposed slavery, empowered unmarried women, welcomed black people, and encouraged peace with the Iroquois. They even founded a settlement called The Gore.

There were numerous attempts to arrest the Friend for blasphemy, but they all failed. In one incident, the women of the house drove off the invading men, tearing their clothes, and in another, the Friend escaped skillfully on horseback.

Pretty rad, all in all.

Trans people are breaking down the gender and sex binary on a daily basis. Our very existence challenges the system of male and female, man and woman. We cross the lines and say “no, females are not inherently like this, no, males are not inherently like that”. We challenge the roles of gender and gender performance.

Trans people take gender and sex from the hands of the patriarchy and mold them into acts of joyful, rebellious expression. We break down the walls between what society says we should do, and what we know in our hearts we can be.

Some trans people obliterate sex and gender so completely they exist outside the binary itself. Some trans people are nonbinary, agender, bigender, or genderqueer (and more).

Even “binary” trans people destroy the patriarchy’s concept of what a person can be, since the patriarchy insists thought and behavior are linked to birth sex. We prove they are not. We prove the differences between the sexes are not bold binaries but a spectrum of features – and those features are largely pick-and-choose, not predestined based on hormones.

For those who medically transition, we prove again that the differences between the sexes are not as rigid as the patriarchy would have you believe; there is not an uncrossable gulf between male and female, and many of the physical traits we are told “belong” to one sex or the other are easily switched by what hormones we have in our bodies.

There is an unbroken spectrum between male and female and beyond. There is an unbroken spectrum between man and woman and beyond. There is an unbroken spectrum between all sexualities. There is an unbroken spectrum between cis and trans!

Humanity does not exist in boxes! Identities overlap, mesh, and blend.

Nothing is defined. Nothing is concrete. There are no boxes, no lines, no hard rules.

If you want to destroy the gender and sex binary, you have to support trans people. We’re on the cutting edge.
