A 4 by 4 arrangement of white paper squares, each of which is heavily creased and has a blue-green diamond and some short lines on it. The squares are very similar but each is unique.
The arrangement is diamond vertical, diamond horizontal throughout

The same squares of paper have been refolded into origami units and reformed into a 30-unit origami structure which is like a hollow pointy star with the ends of each of the points cut off

This is an earlier work in an informal series I did using ovals and jewel-like tones with lots of shading and iridescent color shifting. When I reached my "eureka" moment (the piece was finished), it reminded me somewhat of the Venus of Willendorf.
