Public meeting about the consumption facility. Much has been made in the Daily Mail about the pram shop nearby but there's already a well-used hostel across the road on one side and busy fire station on the other. Calton residents will tell you they are fed up of needle waste, this facility will stop that and makes use of the Homeless Services buildings already there at Hunter St.

From this report, it seems the #Labour and #Tory candidates in the #RutherglenAndHamilton #by-election are opposed to any measures to reduce #car use. The Labour candidate says a #CongestionCharge for #Glasgow would "hammer" working people. This is disappointing, to say the least

Back from volunteering. Last good weather day. My co-volunteer has a very good pension so is off to the sun for the next month.
I will luxuriate in the #Glasgow #weather (cloth, cut etc). Quickly did a last cut of the hedge at home and got seemingly chatted up by a passing bloke who smelled of much alcohol and who told me his whole life story; A wife who gambles, his drinking, losing his house and how everybody is a "c***" but how I seemed very nice (but I should get a man in) . #life

Previously, we've won numerous protected cycle lanes and low-car streets.

I have seen Lloyds House a few times now and leave every time feeling like I have seen something special. Hard to put my finger on it but it hits me in the gut live. Have seen a lot of good bands over the last few years and would recommend seeing them near the top, the last single "Ribbons" is great.
They are also the band I consistently get the worst photos of 🤷 Going to blame it on not being able to concentrate.

The Bleeders opening for the Gelatine EP Launch. First time seeing them and absolutely loved the set. Chaotic rock and roll with a sense of humour.
Just back from seeing #TheOceanAtTheEndOfTheLane at the King’s Theatre in #glasgow
Oh wow. It was absolutely stunning! An incredible translation of the novel, with so many extra elements which couldn’t have worked in any other medium except live #theatre.
If you have a chance to see it wherever it’s playing next, don’t miss it; it’s a hell of a show!
