Only a half hour ago I learned about the Harada Method via @nunocampos his Plugin Review.
And then proceeded to create one in Obsidian Canvas (the plugin by Yildbs didn't fit my needs).
With the help of ChatGPT, I got it all filled out and ready to do.
Of course, I'll make it fit to my actual beliefs and goals, yet this is a great starting point!
Today has been pretty busy. Been playing catch up on things needing to be done, such as game guides and kofi shop stuff. Currently in the workshop and doing a purge of woodworking trash, finding the perfect aluminum block for the heating project, and overall cleaning before it gets too late. Sad fact when you have neighbors. Not going to have time for a stream tonight!

@kissane great post. I'm wondering if there are enough technologists on social that it might not matter if Mastodon ever goes #mainstream - or if that should even be the #goal. Definitely things should be easier (#onboarding, #search) and I think #competition / #alternatives will help #mastodon evolve but I'm not sure the #goals of #bluesky or #twitter are the same (or should be).

I've come to the realization that having #fun is something that we "lose" as a child, not because we want to stop, but because we see everyone around us "not" having fun so we feel we must somehow fit in by also being bereft of fun.
Instead, I would say - as someone who's reached my 50's and still plays video games, reads sci-fi and fantasy, and writes novels and creates games, that having fun is probably one of the most precious and valuable uses of our time.
I have fallen victim to this corrupt way of thinking myself - that I have to be a 'grown up' and be 'serious' all the time.
Screw that.
If Covid has taught us anything, it is that #time is short. The purpose in life is not to see how many dollars you can get, or how high up in some business rank that will be worthless in the future, it's having fun experiences with friends and family. Building good memories, and trying to make your nearby world a bit better. #life #goals

We should give up on the idea that being "more efficient" will end up with us having "more time". Instead, that efficiency will be poured into our workplace and the corporations will reap the benefits, while we knock one extra year off our life span.
Instead, try to live in the here and now. Enjoy your life. Spend time with your kids. Stop trying to squeeze every tiny bit of efficiency out of your efforts.
Seek a full and wonderous life that has moments of joy. Not plan out every second of your day where if you are off by a nano second you feel like a failure.
