This is Snow and Charlie, they were my Guinea pigs and they lived for many years as my boon companions before the Bridge called them home. Every time I had cardboard packing, I would let them explore and destroy it. A friend's #PhD study involves the lifespan of guinea pigs and she's struggling to complete it. The problem is, well, just look at her subjects. They're so cute and healthy.

I feel terrible about the stress she's experiencing, but I can't help laughing at how well she takes care of them. They're too happy, she's never going to finish her study. 😂

#GuineaPigs update - after losing their sister Frisk last week, Chloe (the fat brown. #GuineaPig) is opening up a quite bit more to Winnie now.

Winnie was always somewhat of an outsider in that 3-pig relationship (which is probably why she loves people the most), but these two are really palling up this week!

Charlie was my Abyssinian guinea pig and was a vocal proponent of eating veggies. Anytime I opened the fridge I was met with the loudest of wheeks which I figured translated roughly into. “Oh human! In the foreground is a ceramic white bowl with light blue lines that cross cross to form diamond shaped, in the center of those diamond shapes is a light blue dot. There is also a wide blue stripe at the very front of the bowl that helps section the design. In the bowl is a mix of veggies, lettuce stalks, parsley, and slices of red bell peppers. The bowl is being tipped by a guinea pig towards themselves. They are looking directly at the camera. Their fur is all cow-licked. That is, the ends of their fur are always curled upwards. It’s a trait of the breed - Abyssinian. The front of their face and mutton chops are white fur, and their body has orange fur. The bangs are orange fur with a shock of white in the middle. The ears are a dark grey and pink and lay flat. The skin around their eyes is light pink. The surface they and the bowl are on is covered with hay. Their foreleg has a bit of white near the paw followed by orange going upwards to the body.
