Tennessee Republicans have voted to expel Rep. Justin Jones, a black legislator but declined to expel Rep. Gloria Johnson, who is white, for protesting for stronger gun safety with demonstrators at the Tennessee Capitol. This unconscionable decision disenfranchises 78,000 people in Jones’ district.
Rep. Justin J. Pearson is still waiting his fate.
