Whew! The CBC stream of Game 1 is back up again. They are still tied 2-2 at the end of the 2nd OT.
Thanks go out to whatever tech person at CBC got it working again after what I guess was just some weird glitch because no one figured a game would go past midnight.
OMG! I'm streaming CBC on my desktop to watch Game 1 of the NHL Stanley Cup playoff series between Carolina Hurricanes and Florida Panthers.
They are now in double overtime. Exciting game!
Then the stream abruptly ended with a note "Program Has Ended". I guess CBC only had rights to the game up till midnight Eastern time?? Aaargh!

#NHL I have come to the realization that I don’t enjoy watching the playoffs. I prefer the regular season. Playoff rules are different, the culture is more violent and less skill based, and players get hurt. Also, “the best” team is better decided over 82 games (this year that’s Boston by far) than a few in the playoffs (Boston went out in the 1st round). The best team is the most consistent team over the long haul. #hockey
